Works with the Informal Recreation Coordinator to develop calendar of events, operating schedules, registration information, etc. Serves as public contact for media relations with the approval of Aquatics Coordinator. Maintains facility bulletin boards.

Assists the Informal Recreational Coordinator to develop and implement marketing and promotional materials for Campus Recreation specifically aquatics programs and facilities. Reviews local literature for marketing opportunities.

Collaborates with the Aquatics Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for all birthday party reservation requests. Coordinates and manages all aspects of rentals. Formalizes rental agreements and contracts, Fee Estimate Forms, Invoices, securing deposits and collection of fees. Solicits facility rentals for events, such as birthday parties, to constituents outside the university and in the local community.
Recruits, trains, schedules and coordinates Aquatics Center staff for the continual development of staff training programs with a theoretical and practical basis for practices, procedures, management and safety. Plans and directs the daily work activities as well as evaluates, disciplines, and rewards the assigned employees. Serves as department payroll custodian to process and maintain the staff payroll record.
