Note the following important dates and deadlines:Welcome to the 2020 Masters National Championship event page. Join USAWP, Masters Water Polo and your fellow athletes in Irvine, CA for the 33nd annual Masters National Championships! 

Masters National Tournament Details:
Entry Deadline:
Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. (PT)
Entry Fee: $800 for 19+ and 30+ divisions, $750 for 40+ divisions

Roster Deadline: Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. (PT)
Roster Lockdown: Thursday, June 4,2020 at 9:00 p.m. (PT)
*Any changes made between May 28th and June 4th will be subject to a $100 late roster fee.

Masters Nationals Important Information:
Masters National Championship is a 3-day tournament with a Social event on Friday evening. USA Water Polo will not grant any special scheduling requests. Teams should be prepared to participate in games as early as 11am on Friday June 12th.  There will also be a $250 fine for any forfeited games. Divisions with 7 or more teams will play games on Friday June 12th.
            - Age determination as of 12/31/20
            - 15 athletes per team max
           - Silver level membership required
            - Birth date verification required
            - Photo ID check prior to every game
            - Big water and long quarters
            - All Americans will be selected by age and gender (for top finishers within division)

Team Coach with USAWP Coaching Membership REQUIRED (can be a player/coach)

Age Divisions:
Minimum 3 teams per division
            - 19+ men & 19+ women
            - 30+ men & 30+ women
            - 40+ men & 40+ women
            - 45+ men
            - 50+ men & 50+ women
            - 55+men
            - 55+women (highest age group)
            - 60+men
            - 65+ men (highest age group)

Women are able to participate in the Men's division. Only women can participate in the women's division.

Note: The 19+ Men's and Women's Divisions will be limited to 16 teams, on a first come-first serve basis. All other teams that enter beyond the first 16 teams will be placed on a waiting list and will be allowed into Masters National Championship based on the overall number of teams in the event.
